Activist hedge fund Jana Partners has disclosed a 5.1% stake in Alkami Technology, signalling confidence that the Plano-based banking software provider’s shares are undervalued, according to a report by Reuters.
The report cites an SEC filing as showing that Jana held 5.4 million shares as of 25 March.
The investment builds on Jana’s previous stake in Alkami reported in Q3 2025 and underscores the fund’s ongoing engagement with the company. Earlier, Jana had reportedly encouraged Alkami to consider a sale to a strategic buyer or private equity firm.
