Jeffrey Brummette, one of the founding partners of Rubicon Fund Management, portfolio manager for the Rubicon Global Fund, a discretionary global macro fund, is re-joining the firm as head of marketing.
Brummette will also assume the role of CIO for the recently launched Rubicon Dynamic Fund and will have responsibility for the marketing and future growth of the fund.
As one of the founding partners Brummette played a key role in developing the business and the Rubicon Global Fund from its inception in 1999. He left the firm in 2007 to pursue other interests, including a spell at Strategic Fixed Income UK, before setting up his own fund Onewall Advisors in 2010.
Paul Brewer, founding partner and CIO, says: “Since Jeff left the firm we have remained good friends and I am delighted that he is re-joining Rubicon. Not only does Jeff bring his deep knowledge of our business, but additional insight from his experiences in the last 10 years. We look forward to him helping us develop both our existing and future business, particularly as we move into new products such as the Dynamic Fund.”
