Laven Partners names director of operational due diligence

Laven Partners has appointed Nick Illsley as a director within the firm’s due diligence department.

With over 11 years of experience in finance of which more than seven years in the hedge fund space, Illsley (pictured) will work to address clients’ due diligence challenges within the current and changing operational and regulatory environment.

Illsley trained as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst and Young before moving to Lehman Brothers where he ran the euro medium term note desk.
 
He then joined BlueCrest Capital where he managed part of its Product control group before going on to head up the collateral management team.
 
Later, he joined Systematica as it span out from BlueCrest to lead the treasury and collateral team.
