The hire has been made following a sustained period of organic growth, together with a number of significant new client implementations over the last eighteen months. Oddy will be responsible for the relationship management of Maitland’s largest fund services clients, as well as helping to raise awareness of the Maitland brand across the market. Based in London, he will report to Patric Foley-Brickley, Head of Business Development & Client Management – Europe.
Oddy joins from Ballybunion Capital where he was Managing Director UK providing AIFM, ManCo, Designated Person and MLRO services to alternative investment funds and UCITS in Ireland and other jurisdictions across a range of asset classes.
Oddy has over 35 years of experience in relationship and business development and a high level of sector expertise in securities services, fund administration, financial markets, corporate and investment banking, insurance and asset management.
“It’s exciting to be joining Maitland during such a significant period of growth for the organisation. I look forward to putting my experience to good use, working with our clients to achieve mutual success while also helping to further elevate the Maitland brand in the marketplace,” says Oddy.
Patric Foley-Brickley, Head of Institutional Business Development & Client Management, says: I am very pleased to welcome a professional of Tim’s calibre, knowledge and experience to the Maitland team. Tim will ensure that we continue to give our clients the support they need to achieve their own strategic objectives while simultaneously helping them navigate market best practice and an ever more complex regulatory environment.”
