Multinational investment bank Morgan Stanley has appointed Sid Chaturvedi, formerly a Dubai-based senior portfolio manager at $67bn hedge fund giant Millennium Management, as an executive director in London, according to a report by Financial News.
According to Financial News’ sources, Chaturvedi joined Morgan Stanley last month.
Chaturvedi joined Millennium in 2022, having been an executive director at Goldman Sachs from 2015 to 2021. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he worked at Deutsche Bank from 2012 to 2015.
Despite being one of the top performing hedge funds last year with gains of roughly 10%, Izzy Englander’s Millennium lost portfolio managers Sebastien Mourot, Arnaud Mishra, Roland Beunardeau and Nacer Bengelloun, according to Bloomberg.
