Natixis has appointed Douglas Lenart as Head of Portfolio Management, Americas in its Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) business.
Lenart reports globally to Anne-Christine Champion, Global Head of Distribution and Portfolio Management, CIB and locally to Benjamin Sirgue, Head of Strategic Sectors & Distribution, Americas, CIB. He is responsible for the management of the Americas portfolio in the firm’s Strategic Sectors, as well as Corporate, Leverage, and PE Secondaries, and will oversee the continued regional implementation of Natixis’ global strategy of active management of its CIB loan portfolio.
Prior to joining Natixis, Lenart spent over 10 years at Société Générale, most recently as Managing Director – Scarce Resource Management. He previously held positions at Eidesis Capital, General Electric Capital Corporation and Prudential Securities. Douglas holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College.
