A total of 16 National Numbering Agencies (NNAs) have now signed up to a voluntary initiative which maps new and legacy ISINs to their corresponding LEIs. The initiative is joint undertaking between Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) and the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF). The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has welcomed an initiative by the German gas market area manager NetConnect Germany (NCG) to support derivatives trading on German natural gas markets by means of an incentive scheme.
