CQG’s Continuum Order Routing Network is now available in Eze Software’s multi-broker, cross-asset electronic execution platform, the RealTick EMS.
This integration provides users of the RealTick EMS with direct global futures exchange connectivity to over 50 additional markets and access to more than 100 new Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs). The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has filed a civil enforcement action in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York against Donald R Wilson and his company, DRW Investments.
The CFTC’s complaint charges Wilson and DRW with unlawfully manipulating and attempting to manipulate the price of a futures contract, namely the IDEX USD Three-Month Interest Rate Swap Futures Contract from at least January 2011 through August 2011.

Gottex Fund Management is to establish a joint venture with VStone Asset Management, a private asset manager, which will provide access to mainland China asset management and investors.
Gottex, which has one of the largest hedge fund teams in Asia, will partner with Shanghai-based VStone, led by Dr Jiwu Chen, the former chief investment officer of Fullgoal Fund Management and China Life.
VStone’s total staff of 35 includes a team of mainland China equity and private equity managers and investment professionals.
The JV will provide institutional and qualified private investors access to the China onshore market (including A-Shares)

BNY Mellon’s broker-dealer services business is to provide clearing and custody services to Global Prime Partners’ (GPP) expanding group of high quality emerging investment manager clients.
BNY Mellon will initially begin providing its services to GPP's clients that have settlements in Euroclear with the intention of gradually rolling out this counterparty arrangement into all geographic regions in which GPP's provides prime brokerage support to its clients.

Forward is expanding its sub-advisory relationship with Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) to manage the Forward Credit Analysis Long/Short Fund (FLSIX).
As of 13 November 2013, PIMCO will become the fund's new sub-advisor. PIMCO is already a sub-advisor to Forward Investment Grade Fixed-Income Fund (AIFIX).
"The move will refocus the fund's management, and we have also moved to significantly lower its management fee," says Alan Reid (pictured), chief executive of Forward.

John Lyttle has been appointed as chief operating officer of Ogee Group.
Lyttle is a graduate from Fordham University and will primarily focus on investor relations and capital raising.
Lyttle will also contribute to quantitative analysis, trading and operations.
Ogee Group is the management company for start-up hedge fund Ogee Structured Opportunities. The company was one of the JOBS Act pioneers to file the new SEC Form D allowing hedge funds to advertise.
The fund follows an original strategy employing equity derivatives with the aim of generating superior returns overs a medium-term horizon.
