In this process, a service provider sends an email to the investor detailing the characteristics of a fund or funds that are potentially suitable. This email contains a button which, when clicked, will generate an email that is sent on behalf of the investor (i.e. from the investor’s

Ignis’ Absolute Return Government Bond Fund has seen strong performance in recent weeks following further positive signs for the global economy. US and UK economic data has continued to be strong, particularly in the UK, where the composite PMI data is running at the highest levels since the series began in 1988.  Negative concerns over Japan, China and Europe have also abated following a period of positive data.   The improving global growth outlook has prompted bond yields to rise, leading to hawkish statements from both Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke and new Bank of England governor Mark Carney. This
A new reverse repurchase agreement (repo) facility under consideration by the US Federal Reserve may prove attractive to money market funds (MMFs), according to Fitch Ratings.   The repo facility, as proposed, would be an appropriate investment for rated MMFs and would be exempt from Fitch’s normal counterparty limits. It could help offset the diminishing supply of eligible short-term securities.   While the Fed has expressed an interest in this facility, there has been no indication of when this tool would be implemented, if at all.   The US Federal Reserve’s minutes from its recent 30-31 July meeting discussed establishing
