The European Energy Exchange (EEX) is entering into a partnership with the data solutions provider TYCHO Solutions to enhance transparency in the hydrogen markets.
Both parties will bring in their respective expertise to provide hydrogen-related data on the EEX Transparency Platform, by using TYCHO’s business intelligence tool NOVA.
TYCHO Solutions is a young start-up based in Mexico City which provides data solutions for renewable energy developers. The business intelligence tool NOVA is TYCHO’s latest development which has been established in collaboration with Marketz (an Enoi Group company) for collecting, analysing and keeping up-to-date information about hydrogen and related sectors.

Darwin, a leading independent AIFMD depositary in mainland Europe, provides services to clients based in the Netherlands and outside the EU, including hedge funds, real estate, debt and private equity funds as well as funds investing in infrastructure and renewable energy.

An improvement in global investor sentiment towards China and Hong Kong has prompted Avantua Group, the family office created by a member of Hong Kong’s third-richest family, to launch its first hedge fund, according to a report by the South China Morning Post.
The report cites managing director Xu Has as revealing that the firm is targeting $50 million for the new long-short fund with 80 per cent coming from outside investors and the remaining 20 per cent from Avantua.

Zhu Su, the chief executive officer and co-founder of beleaguered cryptocurrency hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC) is looking to sell one of his luxury ‘good class bungalows’ in Singapore.
Zhu and his wife Tao Yaqiong Evelyn are reported to have been trying to offload the two-story, 15,000 sq ft, six bedroom property that they bought in the swanky Yarwood neighbourhood late last year for SGD48.8 million. The couple also owns at least one other good-class bungalow – the local equivalent of a mansion – at Dalvey Road, which was purchased under Tao’s name, according to public records.
A widely-used model to calculate margin requirements may not accurately reflect the risk some funds face in unlisted trades according to the Bank Of England’s Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
A report by Bloomberg says the the PRA believes that some funds, including hedge funds, may need to post more collateral to comply with new margin rules that are set to come int force in the UK in September.
