Global Kapital Group (GKG), a global financial services conglomerate, has appointed David Papier as Head of Institutional Sales for GKPro, its UK based B2B broker.
The appointment will be followed by further top-level hires, as GKPro continues to expand in the B2B space, the company said.
With 12 years of broking industry experience, Papier began his career at trading platform CMC Markets and went on to hold senior client management positions at ETX Capital, the derivatives provider.
The expansion of GKPro comes as GKG seeks to expand its brokerage services globally.

The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator for February 2022 measured 1.79 per cent, up from 1.52 per cent in January.
“SS&C GlobeOp’s Forward Redemption Indicator for February 2022 of 1.79per cent represents a decrease in redemption notices compared to the 2.37per cent reported for the same period a year ago,” says Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SS&C Technologies. “Moreover, the 1.79 per cent reported is the lowest level of redemptions for any month of February since the inception of the Forward Redemption Indicator in 2008.

WTW has appointed Kate Hollis as Global Head of Credit, Manager Research, in its Investments business.
In this role, Hollis is responsible for a team of over fifteen people and the ratings and performance of all Credit products representing in excess of USD250 billion of assets across WTW’s global client base. She has been promoted from her role leading the Traditional Credit research team. She will remain an Investment Committee member for WTW’s alternative credit fund (Towers Watson Investment Management Alternative Credit Fund).

European credit specialist AlbaCore Capital Group (AlbaCore) has launched a new solution focusing on Carbon Conscious Investing (CCI), the first European private market solution to provide line-by-line greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting for a corporate credit portfolio.
The model and methodology, developed in-house by AlbaCore, reflects the portfolio’s GHG footprint for all scenarios including when public data is not available. The GHG data is integrated into AlbaCore’s internal risk system that is monitored on an ongoing basis to continue to refine the CCI footprint analysis as data quality improves and regulatory pressure encourages more companies to report.

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has agreed to acquire TORA, a cloud-based technology provider that supports customers trading multiple asset classes across global markets, for USD325 million.
Founded in 2004, TORA offers trading technology solutions. This includes an order and execution management system (OEMS) and portfolio management system (PMS) for customers trading equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives and digital assets. The addition of digital assets to LSEG’s trading capabilities strengthens its presence in this rapidly expanding asset class, at a time when institutional market participants are increasing exposure to crypto and other digital assets.

Led by industry veteran, Duncan Higgins, the network will bring firms together to devise practical solutions to industry specific ESG issues and develop a mechanism for self-assessment and benchmarking.

SEBA Bank, a fully integrated, FINMA licensed digital assets banking platform, has secured a Financial Services Permission (FSP) from Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (“FSRA”) effective as of 7 February 2022.
