Michael Hintze’s hedge fund CQS is is considering launching a ‘green’ collateralised loan obligation (CLO) in Europe according to a report by Bloomberg, as it looks to further expand its ESG offering. The report says that CQS, which already holds about 60 per cent of its USD2.6 billion assets under management via Article 8 ESG mandates, has written to investors to outline the plan.
FX HedgePool, the matching engine for mid-market execution of FX swaps, has launched a new monthly, mid-month, settlement date-based matching cycle that will anchor to the third Wednesday of each month, creating a more frequent cycle that aligns with the familiar quarterly IMM (International Monetary Market) maturity dates. DL Holdings Group Limited has agreed agreed a deal with Hong Kong based hedge fund and asset management start-up company Atlas Multi-assets Capital Holdings Limited, to pay up top USD6.5 million to acquire about 38 per cent of the issued shares of Atlas Multi-assets. The preliminary post-money valuation is USD 20 million. Atlas is operated by a veteran team with experience in both global investment and private banking. The target firm is licensed by Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission to engage in Type 4 (Advising on Securities) and Type 9 (Asset Management) regulated activities.
