Axiom Alternative Investments, a French asset manager with USD2.4 billion under management and offices in London and Paris, has appointed Amélie Kesler to the newly created role of Head of Legal.
Based in Paris, Kesler will report to David Benamou, Chief Investment Officer and will support Axiom on all legal matters as it continues to diversify and expand its growing fund range.
Kesler began her career as a Legal Officer at Lazard Frères Gestion SAS in 2015 and was promoted to Deputy Head of Legal Asset Management in April 2019.

Hedge funds saw USD19.1 billion in new assets flow into the industry in March. Coupled with a USD28.5 billion monthly trading profit, total hedge fund industry assets rose to more than USD4.07 trillion as March ended, a new record high, according to data released by BarclayHedge.
Most hedge fund sectors experienced net inflows in March. Fixed Income funds set the pace adding USD6.9 billion to assets, while Sector Specific funds brought in USD5.8 billion, Emerging Markets – Asia funds saw USD5.6 billion in inflows, Event Driven funds took in USD3.0 billion and Multi-Strategy funds added USD2.9 billion.

AquaQ Analytics and Alveo have formed a partnership to provide advanced data management and analytics for the financial services industry.
One specific deliverable of the relationship has been the integration between Alveo’s Prime data mastering and data quality management solution and AquaQ’s kdb+ data capture solution, TorQ. Digital asset price weakness prompted investors to add positions last week, with net inflows into investment products totalling USD74 million, according to the latest Digital Assets Weekly Fund Flows report from CoinShares.
Ether achieved its highest market share, peaking at nearly 27 per cent of all investment products.
Outflows, meanwhile, remain focussed on bitcoin investment products, which saw minor outflows of USD4 million.
The most recent data also suggests proof-of-stake coins remain popular with inflows into cardano, polkadot and ripple of USD5.2 million, USD3.8 million and USD4.5 million respectively.
