Tether Operations (Tether), the blockchain-enabled platform that powers the largest stablecoin by market capitalisation, has surpassed USD60 billion in market capitalisation as market participants flooded to tether tokens (USDt) in the face of recent market turbulence.
Digital asset investment products saw net outflows for the second consecutive week last week, totalling a new record of USD97 million, according to the latest Digital Assets Fun Flows weekly report from CoinShares.
The outflow remains low, representing only 0.2 per cent of total assets under management (AuM).
Adding to the outflow was ether which saw minor outflows of USD12.6 million following a long run of record-breaking inflows totalling USD924 million year to date (8 per cent of AuM)
All other altcoins (typically coins other than bitcoin) saw continued positive sentiment with inflows across the board totalling USD27 million. Cardano
