Gresham Investment Management managing director and head of the New York hedge fund’s systematic product strategy, Irene Perdomo, has joined Dubai-based Ocean Leonid Investments as co-head of the proprietary trading firm’s systematic strategies.
Perdomo who spent the past three years at Gresham, started her career at Barclays in 2009 as a vice-president of commodities, before moving to the metals trading desk of Noble Group in June 2012. She left Noble in August 2013 to co-found hedge fund Devet Capital.
Perdomo will be based in London in her new role at Ocean Leonid, which has been registered as an investment firm in the Dubai International Financial Centre since October 2018.
