Global financial services executive recruitment firm Options Group has bolstered its London and Hong Kong teams with the hires of Louis Couronne and Macaire Chue as vice presidents, underscoring growing demand for electronic trading and hedge fund talent, according to Hunt Scanlon.
In London, Louis Couronne joins to lead searches in electronic trading, bringing deep expertise in systematic strategy development, AI/ML research, high-performance computing, and trading infrastructure optimisation. Couronne has partnered with tier-1 prop trading desks, investment banks, quant hedge funds, and multi-strategy managers, overseeing front-office mandates across quantitative strategies and trading technology.
Macaire Chue meanwhile, will head Options Group’s Hong Kong desk, focusing on hedge fund and electronic trading recruitment. Chue arrives from Libbler, where he placed traders and technologists at leading global hedge funds and proprietary trading firms. His background spans macro, commodities, equities, systematic investment, and quantitative development teams.
