Paloma Partners Co-CIO and CEO exits

Neil Chriss, the Co-Chief investment officer and Chief Executive Officer at Paloma Partners Management Co, the multi-strategy hedge fund firm founded by Donald Sussman, has left the business, according to a report by Pensions & Investments Online.

The report cites a Form ADV filing amendment with the SEC has confirming Chriss’ departure less than year after he joined in the newly created role. He served as Co-CIO alongside Sussman.

Prior to joining Paloma, Chriss spent time at Millennium Management, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and SAC Capital, and also founded the hedge fund Hutchin Hill Capital, which closed in 2017.

Paloma Partners, which was founded in 1989, is the investment adviser to the Paloma Fund, a multi-strategy hedge fund with around $3.3bn in assets under management according to a its latest Form ADV filing.
