Ravi M Singh has been appointed CEO of multi-strategy hedge fund firm Paloma Partners Management, effective 22 November. Singh has stepped into the top leadership role after joining the firm in February 2024 as Chief Strategy Officer, according to a report by Pensions & Investments Online.
Singh’s past career includes senior positions at ORIX Corp USA, Credit Suisse, and Goldman Sachs, showcasing extensive experience in finance and strategy.
The leadership transition follows the departure of former CEO Neil Chriss in April 2024. Chriss took on the newly created CEO position in 2023 and served as Co-CIO alongside Paloma’s founder and chairman, S Donald Sussman, who established Paloma in 1989, and remains a prominent figure at the firm, which is known for both its in-house investment strategies and external allocations to other hedge funds.
Paloma Partners advises the Paloma Fund, a multi-strategy hedge fund managing approximately $2.9bn in assets as of 30 September, 2024.
