The Alternative Credit Council, the private credit affiliate of the Alternative Investment Management Association, has launched its Investor Manager Committee, a new initiative which aims to strengthen the ACC’s work on key areas where private credit market practice is still evolving, and foster better engagement between investors and asset managers in this burgeoning asset class.
Private funds specialist, Dale Gabbert has joined European law firm Fieldfisher as Head of Funds. He joins from Simmons & Simmons where he was a funds partner since 2014, specialising in private equity, infrastructure, credit and hedge funds.

The longstanding Chief Risk Officer of European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC), Dr Thomas Siegl, will leave the company at the end of April 2021 after his appointment expires. Siegl did not seek an extension of his contract for personal reasons.
Austrian-born Siegl was appointed to the ECC Executive Board on 1 May 2010 and has been responsible for risk controlling and risk management at the clearing house since that time.

HFA members re-elected Nick Tootle, and elected Pamela Brylski, Lou Garcia, Alice Lyu and Bo Megginson.
