WorldQuant, a global quantitative asset management firm, has appointed Gary Chropuvka as President.
Chropuvka will oversee global business strategy, firm operations and priority initiatives, as well as provide additional leadership in firm investment activities. He will join WorldQuant in late 2020.
Chropuvka was at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for more than two decades, where he most recently served as Co-Head of Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS). Chropuvka held other various roles at QIS, including oversight of its customised beta, tax-efficient and alternative risk premia businesses. He also previously served as a QIS Equity Alpha portfolio manager. Gary joined QIS in 1999
