Euronext has announced a number of senior appointments in London and New York.
Paul Humphrey, Head of Fixed Income, Rates and FX (FICC), has been appointed as interim Head of Global Sales, and interim member of the Managing Board of Euronext, in addition to his current position and subject to regulatory approvals. He replaces Lee Hodgkinson who is leaving the company on 30 March 2018. Euronext is in the process of actively searching for Hodgkinson’s permanent replacement.
Alain Courbebaisse, Chief Information and Technology Officer, has been appointed as Chairman of the board of directors of FastMatch Inc, replacing Hodgkinson.
The Managed Funds Association (MFA) has appointed D Brooke Harlow, currently Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Public Affairs, as its Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately.
In her nine-year tenure with MFA, Harlow has held leadership roles across a number of functions, including public affairs, communications, and membership.

Axioma has appointed Jason Connelly (pictured), as Managing Director, Business Strategy and Execution. He was previously Global Head of Analytics Managed Services at MSCI, Inc.

Ripjar, a company that enables institutions to counter money laundering, cybercrime and other security threats, has appointed former GCHQ Director Sir Iain Lobban KCMG CB as a Senior Advisor.
Lobban will be providing strategic advice as Ripjar increase the pace and scale of its global operations in the highly competitive cyber security and anti-money-laundering sectors.
Lobban served at GCHQ – the UK Government Communications Headquarters – for over 30 years, becoming Director in 2008, after having previously served as Director General for Operations from 2004. Siobhan Pandya has joined as Head of Investment Communications. Pandya is responsible for developing and implementing the content and marketing strategy for Heartwood. Laven has added to its compliance and operations consulting team with the appointment of Priscilla Babs as a Senior Consultant. Babs joins Laven’s GDPR team from BlueBay.
Babs has extensive experience working on global GDPR projects and other regulatory compliance matters. In her previous positions she worked on ensuring that business processes, policies, procedures and systems comply with the GDPR regulations. She has a great track record of successfully conducting GAP analyses, data flow mapping, recording of processing activities, conducting third party assessments as well as implementing the solutions across all business units.

Ogier has promoted Richard Bennett from the firm’s London based investment funds team to managing associate.
Bennett (pictured), who has been with Ogier since 2011, is a Registered Foreign Lawyer regulated by the Law Society of Hong Kong, and worked at Hogan Lovells and the UK Financial Services Authority before joining the firm.
He specialises in licensing, fund structuring and restructuring and financing arrangements under the laws of the British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands for private equity and hedge fund clients.
