IFG Fund Administration has further strengthened its team which targets the alternative investment industry, as it seeks to grow its business.
Stephen Edmonds has joined the Isle of Man office, working closely with Colin Stott who was recently promoted to Director, Business Development.
Edmonds has worked in financial services for over 30 years, and is well known and respected in the local and London marketplace.

Ashmore Group plc has appointed Simon Fraser to the Board as a Non Executive Director effective 10 February 2012.

HazelTree, a provider of Treasury management services for alternative investment managers, has appointed Sandeep Rawal to the position of Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately.

Eze Castle Integration, a provider of IT services, technology and consulting to investment management firms, has promoted Christopher Holden from the position of senior vice president of finance to chief financial officer.
Holden, who has served the company for nearly a decade, will oversee all of Eze Castle’s worldwide financial operations. His promotion comes as the company continues to grow its revenue streams and expand into new markets around the globe.
Since joining Eze Castle in 2003, Holden has managed the company’s US financial operations and spearheaded the establishment of international operations, most recently in Asia and the UK. As

Alvine Capital, an independent London based alternative advisory firm, has appointed Alexander Münster Dahl as Client Relations Manager. Münster Dahl joins from Institutional Investor where he was responsible for the expansion and maintenance of Institutional Investor’s place in the Nordic market.

Stenham Asset Management has appointed Pablo Balan as Head of Risk Management and Quantitative Research.
Balan, who joined the firm in the last quarter of 2011 is based in Stenham’s London office. He is a member of the firm’s Investment Advisory Committee and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of risk across the full range of Stenham’s funds and portfolios. His assessment of risk encompasses the fundamental and quantitative inputs to the Stenham investment process. He is also responsible for generating quantitative research on underlying funds and portfolio analytics to assist the fund selection, monitoring and portfolio construction processes.
