Rokos Capital Management CEO to step down in Q1 2024

Mark Edwards, the Chief Executive Officer of Rokos Capital Management, is to step down from the role in the first quarter of 2024, with a small group of executives then set to share senior management responsibilities at the firm, according to a report by Bloomberg.

The report cites a letter to investors seen by Bloomberg as confirming that the former Goldman Sachs Group Inc, who who was appointed CEO in 2020, is retiring to spend more time with his family. The are leadership team will be headed by Matthew Sebag-Montefiore.

Rokos has also announced a series of senior management changes that will follow Edwards’ departure, with Sebag-Montefiore becoming chief operations officer alongside his existing duties as chief strategy officer.

Pria Bakhshi meanwhile, will be appointed global head of strategic solutions and Christos Nifadopoulos will head up the HR, fund control and business administration teams, while Quita Ramirez is set to join the firm as global head of business development, investor relations and communications in December.
