Schultze Asset Management adds to team and advisory board

Schultze Asset Management, an investment firm specialising in financially troubled and distressed companies, has hired William Skolnick as Vice President of Business Development and four new advisory board members.

In this new role, Skolnick will work to create new business opportunities and develop strategic initiatives to expand the firm’s client base.
 
“William is a seasoned and disciplined executive with a wealth of experience in the institutional and high-net-worth space,” says George Schultze, founder of Schultze Asset Management. “We’re pleased to have someone of his caliber join our ranks.”
 
Skolnick brings with him over 30 years of experience overseeing institutional and high-net-worth clients, spanning middle-markets, hedge funds, and other institutions from a corporate relationship and capital markets perspective. 
 
Formerly, Skolnick was an Executive Director at Oppenheimer & Co. for almost a decade; he managed their institutional investment services department. For ten years prior, he served as Vice President of Institutional Sales at Lehman Brothers and was with Barclays for seven years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Yeshiva University in New York and is a licensed Series 7 and 63 professional.
 
Schultze Asset Management also added four new advisory board members to the company’s roster.
 
Vik Jindal is the Managing Partner of Perpetual Holdings, an investment and corporate advisory firm. Mr. Jindal has 17 years of professional experience as an investor and investment banker working with a broad array of industries.
 
Gary Julien is the CFO of NYONair, an aerial content, media and technology company. Mr. Julien is a seasoned corporate finance, M&A and investment professional with over 20 years of experience in both public and private markets.
 
Matthew Ross served as Deputy General Counsel of Deloitte LLP from September, 1990 until his retirement in May, 2016.  The focus of his practice was M&A, Finance, and Corporate Governance.
 
Jasjeet S Sood is the Founder and Managing Partner of Greenwich Energy Capital Advisors, LLC, a boutique investment banking firm. Mr. Sood has over 30 years of experience in principal investments, investment and commercial banking and project development.
