Snapper Creek Energy (Snapper Creek), a data-driven commodity brokerage specialising in traditional, renewable and transitional energy markets, has launched a new physical liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) brokerage desk.
In addition, Deacon Shorr will join the firm as President of the LPG desk alongside a team including Jake Shorr, Vice President LPG, Scott Gray, LPG Broker, and Nick Teasdale, LPG Broker.
D Shorr most recently served as President of Libra Fearnley Energy. He entered the LPG industry in 1983 as a Broker for Fearngas in New York City. After five years as a Broker, he began his trading career with Trammo Gas in London and later joined Ferrell International as a Managing Director. In 2013, he rejoined the Fearnleys Group as President, based in Paris, and eventually in Santa Barbara, where he currently resides.
Snapper Creek Energy was founded in 2023 by energy industry veterans Sid Perkins and Ike Perkins and provides market analytics, brokerage and advisory solutions. Clients include banks, macro hedge funds, specialised oil and gas investment funds, trading firms, market makers and oil companies.
