Bloomberg and Elwood Technologies has announced a strategic integration enabling investments from clients using Elwood’s market-leading cryptocurrency trading platform to flow directly into Bloomberg AIM, a buy-side order management system (OMS).
Elwood’s crypto native solution, with purpose-built infrastructure, delivering deep liquidity and extensive market data, is the gateway for institutional access to digital assets. The integration combines Elwood’s institutional cryptocurrency trading capabilities with Bloomberg’s data, analytics, and workflow tools, enabling the financial institutions and investment managers on the AIM platform to capture and manage their crypto investments alongside the rest of their portfolio for a unified investment process.

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has announced its role in the newly launched S&P GSCI European Power indices which utilise price data from EEX’ flagship European power futures contracts.
The new indices are a first of their kind for the power industry and will include German, French, Italian and Spanish power futures prices listed on EEX. As a result, potential investors now have a suite of credible and reliable performance benchmarks which track the price development of the power market, while reflecting the ongoing shift from fossil fuel reliance to a more sustainable energy mix.

Bybit, one of the world’s fastest-growing cryptocurrency exchanges, will soon release its USDC perpetual contracts. The new product will allow users to trade using their USDC balance on Bybit’s derivatives exchange.
Bybit’s new USDC perpetual contract will first open to whitelisted traders, allowing them to use USDC as collateral and place long or short contracts with up to 100x leverage and no expiration date.
Taking bitcoin perpetual as an example, traders will be able to place an order based on the quantity of bitcoin, and calculate the margin, profit, and loss based on USDC. The new contract joins Bybit’s other
Financial technology provider Iress is to expand its backbone infrastructure and QuantFEED platform to the new Euronext colocation site in Bergamo, Italy.
Iress is amongst the first market data vendors to take up residence at the new site, as Euronext builds out its new data centre at the location.
The agreement with Euronext provides Iress with hosting space and connectivity services which will allow them to continue to offer the lowest possible latency API data solutions to its customers. BEQUANT, a digital asset prime brokerage and exchange, has integrated Kraken on its prime brokerage platform, BEQUANT Pro, and added to the growing list of exchanges that BEQUANT offers to its clients.
BEQUANT Pro will act as a broker, providing BEQUANT’s clients access to the Kraken exchange. This is in addition to all of Pro’s features including transfer management, cross-margining and leverage and access to another 12 major exchanges, including Binance, FTX, KuCoin, Bitfinex, OKX and BEQUANT Exchange.
Kraken is a US-based exchange and bank founded in 2011. It is available in 176 countries and lists 112 cryptocurrencies to trade.
