The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has supplemented the auction calendar for the year 2020 with the auctions for EU aviation allowances (EUAA). The respective dates were fixed in coordination with the European Commission and the participating Member States as well as with the responsible German and Polish authorities. On behalf of 25 EU Member States and the EEA EFTA states Norway and Iceland, EEX will conduct six EUAA auctions in 2020. Starting on 15 January 2020, the auctions will take place on Wednesdays every two months.   The following table provides an overview of the respective auction dates and volumes:

Cryptocurrency exchange OKEx is to launch USDT Futures Trading, a linear futures contract. OKEx’s USDT futures contract is a virtual derivative product that is quoted and settled in USDT digital tokens, and each contract has a face value of a fixed amount of digital tokens.  Traders can long a position to profit from the increase of a cryptocurrency’s price, or short a position to profit from the decline of a cryptocurrency’s price. CSC, a provider of specialised administration services to alternative asset managers, is to acquire TCS-Groep (TCS), a Netherlands-based service provider for alternative investment funds (AIFs). TCS offers fund administration and depositary services for alternative asset managers with a focus on real estate, private equity, private debt, and social impact funds, and manages more than EUR6.5 billion in assets on behalf of its clients.
