Kaizen Reporting (Kaizen), a specialist regulatory reporting firm, is extending its award-winning assurance service, ReportShield, to cover MiFIR trade reporting.
Under MiFID II, investment firms are required to report on both trades and transactions. Trade reporting improves the near to real-time trade transparency information published to potential investors. Financial details of trades are reported to an Approved Publication Arrangement (APA) for dissemination to the market. In transaction reporting trade details must be reported in T+1 to an Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM) which validates the data before sending the reports to regulators.

QCP Capital, an Asian digital-asset trading firm, has connected to the trading platform of Seed CX which, through its subsidiaries, offers a licensed exchange for institutional trading and settlement of spot digital asset products and plans to offer a market for CFTC-regulated digital asset derivatives.
With this connection, Seed CX is bridging geographically disparate liquidity pools by providing Singapore investors access to a licensed and regulated exchange, and U.S. investors to liquidity and order flow from the extensive digital-assets trading ecosystem in Asia.

The SEC has issued and settled charges against professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr and music producer Khaled Khaled, known as DJ Khaled, for failing to disclose payments they received for promoting investments in Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs).
These are the SEC’s first cases to charge touting violations involving ICOs.
The SEC’s orders found that Mayweather failed to disclose promotional payments from three ICO issuers, including USD100,000 from Centra Tech Inc, and that Khaled failed to disclose a USD50,000 payment from Centra Tech, which he touted on his social media accounts as a “Game changer.” Mayweather’s promotions included a message to his Twitter followers
Refinitiv and Tradeweb Markets (Tradeweb) have renewed an agreement to make certain Tradeweb market data – including new data sets – available for exclusive redistribution through Refinitiv.
The expanded, multi-year agreement enables financial professionals to access Tradeweb data across multiple Refinitiv platforms and solutions, based on the user’s individual preferences and workflow requirements. This includes Refinitiv’s flagship financial platform, Eikon, as well as Elektron, Datascope, Refinitiv cloud-based solutions, and Tick History. BSO, an ethernet network, cloud and hosting provider, and Kaiko, a provider of institutional grade crypto currency market data, have partnered to deliver real time market data with direct connectivity to clients from connected crypto exchanges.
The first implementation will see BSO delivering a live-streaming low-latency, secure market data feed from Equinix NY4 for current investors of Gemini, the first exchange to have collocated its servers in an institutional grade data centre, which allows for a cross connect to be implemented and thereby allowing Kaiko clients to access data directly.

Powernext is to introduce financially settled LNG contracts on its trading platform PEGAS, expanding its extensive European offering for spot and futures gas trading with a globally traded commodity.
This is another significant step for EEX Group as it moves into the global commodity exchange space.
