Independent fund research company, Monterey Insight, has confirmed the Aztec Group is the leading fund administrator in Jersey for the third consecutive year, administering USD126.0 billion net assets and 181 funds.
The annual Monterey Report provides a comprehensive analysis of the Jersey funds industry and its service providers by giving an insight on both the number of funds advised and the total assets under management. Saxo Bank, a fintech specialist focussed on multi-asset trading and investment, has launched SaxoInvester, a new platform that gives the growing investor segment the opportunity to build long-term portfolios across stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and SaxoSelect portfolios.
The platform is initially launched in Denmark with international roll-out planned for the first quarter of 2019. Xena Exchange, a professional-level crypto-asset trading platform, has completed a USD3 million Series A round of financing led by Klever Internet Investments. The newly raised funds will bolster the company’s focus on team expansion, marketing efforts, and accelerate product development.
The Xena Exchange team is made up of a group of industry professionals with experience from top-notch investment banks such as J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, UBS, and more. In 2017, the company has received its initial funding from angel investors to launch its operations, and has since built a cryptocurrency trading platform with better tools for trading.

Forex technology specialist Integral has partnered with Moscow Exchange (MOEX) to provide MOEX customers with access to better liquidity, higher performance, and lower latency through its Open Currency Exchange (OCX).

Refinitiv has signed an agreement with Nordic investment management firm E Öhman J:or Fonder (Öhman) to deliver an end-to-end workflow solution for its investment management business.
The agreement will cover the entire pre- to post-trade workflow, and allows Öhman to leverage the full depth of Refinitiv desktop, trading, data, and analytical solutions.
