The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for June 2017 measured 0.04 per cent.
Hedge fund flows as measured by the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index declined 1.80 per cent in July.
“SS&C GlobeOp’s Capital Movement Index for July 2017 was -1.80 per cent, compared to -2.53 per cent a year ago for July 2016. The month of July typically sees a net outflow owing to seasonal factors, so this smaller net outflow is actually a very positive result,” says Bill Stone (pictured), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. “In fact, July 2017 marks the sixth consecutive month of improvement in the Capital Movement Index, indicating the trend toward increased asset retention by hedge funds remains firmly intact.”
