The gross return of the SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Performance Index for November 2021 measured -1.71 per cent.
Hedge fund flows as measured by the SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index meanwhile, advanced 0.36 per cent in December.
“SS&C GlobeOp’s Capital Movement Index finished a very favorable 2021 with net inflows for December of 0.36 per cent, up from -0.04 per cent for the same period a year ago,” says Bill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SS&C Technologies. “Full-year 2021 showed the strongest net capital flows since 2013. Investors are showing increased confidence in hedge strategies during a period of very positive directional markets.”
