Tremblant Capital appoints Daniel E Waters as co-president

Tremblant Capital Group, a global asset management firm specialising in long/short and long-only equity investing, has appointed Daniel Watersas a partner and co-president. 

In this newly created role, Waters will join both the management and investment/risk committees, and will directly oversee Tremblant's client activities.

Prior to joining Tremblant, Waters was Co-chief executive officer and a partner at FrontPoint Partners, a global alternative asset manager. 
 
Before FrontPoint, Waters was a managing director at Morgan Stanley, having served in a variety of senior positions, including head of US institutional and absolute return strategies distribution and co-head of Morgan Stanley Investment Management's global portfolio solutions group. He also helped to spearhead the development of Morgan Stanley's wealth management services business.
