Three former Portfolio Managers in Brevan Howard’s systematic macro team, who left the $35bn Jersey-headquartered global macro hedge fund firm earlier this year, have now all found new homes, according to a report by eFinancial careers.
Michael Krupin, a former G10 FX trader at Barclays who spent a year at Brevan Howard between May 2023 and May 2024 has now joined First New York, a multi-strategy investment firm that provides trading infrastructure for experienced portfolio managers.
Frank Flight meanwhile, who left Brevan Howard of his own accord in May after just over a year, joined the Soros Global Macro Fund in August. Before his stint at Brevan, Flight worked as a rates trader at Goldman Sachs for seven years.
Another Brevan alum, Nikhil Gutha, who managed portfolios at the firm for four years, has now re-emerged at Point72 Asset Management’s Miami office.
