Triton Capital Advisors, a provider of alternative investment services, has opened an office in Boston, Massachusetts.
Jeff Garcia, a veteran of the alternative investment industry, will helm the branch. Garcia joins Triton as vice president.
“Because of the ever-growing demand for alternative investments, and with managed futures as one of the leading choices, we felt this was an opportunistic time to expand our message and expertise,” says Richard Singer, managing director and chief investment officer of Triton. “The addition of a talent like Jeff Garcia gives us the ability to expand our operation to a broader segment of the investment community.”
Garcia will provide personalised managed futures services to high-net-worth investors, RIAs, family offices, and institutional investors in the Boston area. He has over 14 years of experience in institutional and private wealth management, with a specialty in developing wealth-building strategies within global financial and alternatives markets.
Prior to joining Triton, Garcia played a key role in the launch and growth of an FX investment company, where he connected brokers, commodity trading advisers, registered investment advisers, and high net worth investors around the globe. Before that, he worked with TD Ameritrade, where the President’s Club recognised him for excellence in asset gathering and advice solutions. Garcia also served as a financial adviser both at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.
