Lade King, a seasoned technology leader with experience at Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and most recently at quant hedge fund Two Sigma, has made a move to private equity, joining TPG as Engineering Chief Operating Officer, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
King spent the past two years leading technical programme management for enterprise platform engineering at Two Sigma. Before that, she served as a product manager, heading the firm’s services engineering product management team. In her new role at TPG, she aims to “strengthen and scale [TPG’s] technology capabilities.”
Before her hedge fund tenure, King built an extensive career in investment banking technology, spending over 12 years at Goldman Sachs, and rising from Analyst to Vice President, before joining JPMorgan as an Executive Director and Product Lead for Identity Access Management (IAM). Her stint at JPMorgan lasted just nine months though, before she moved to Two Sigma.
King’s appointment follows another ex-Goldman VP, Tony Bradley, who joined TPG last month as a Vice President.
