Koger, a financial services technology company and provider of the NTAS platform for fund administration and compliance, has received the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management certification.
Koger’s certification means the company meets a comprehensive quality standard that covers all of its processes and operations.
A quality management system that can be integrated into any business, ISO 9001 ensures the business delivers a consistent level of quality to its customers by having well-defined and regularly-reviewed processes and procedures. Koger’s certification states that the company has “implemented and maintains a quality management system for the design and managed development of fund administration software.”
“We felt it was important that Koger receive the ISO quality certification. The fact that we meet this high standard reinforces and confirms our strict controls and procedures, and demonstrates an enhanced level of transparency for our clients,” says Ras Sipko, Koger Chief Operating Officer.
Koger’s NTAS software platform is a share registry system that manages fund tracking, reporting and fee calculation. More than 8,000 funds with USD2 trillion in assets are administered through NTAS, which is used by many of the largest asset managers, fund administrators and financial institutions. NTAS handles daily transfer agency record-keeping, investor registration, cash management, trade processing, compliance, reporting and fee processing.
Founded in 1994, Koger pioneered fund administration solutions for alternative investments. Through the years, the company built on its signature NTAS software to create a comprehensive fund administration platform that now serves the entirety of the investment industry. The NTAS platform and its complementary product suite support all types of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity, mutual funds, money market funds and pension funds.
“The ISO certification is part of our ongoing dedication and service to our clients. Our software makes complex processes easy to manage and increases efficiency for fund administrators, asset managers and financial institutions. We offer one platform that doesn’t require any effort by clients to use its complete functionality for fund administration and compliance. All we do is turn on a different module depending on what clients need. We strive to make the user experience as simple and seamless as possible,” Sipko says.
