The Nomura Global Dynamic Bond Fund, managed by Richard “Dickie” Hodges has reached the USD1 billion mark, having delivered 16.8 per cent YTD.

State Street Corporation has launched a new digital asset pilot in collaboration with Gemini Trust Company, LLC (Gemini), a cryptocurrency exchange and custodian.
The pilot builds on ongoing research and development in the digital asset space to combine Gemini Custody with State Street’s back office reporting.
The first of its kind, this pilot performs reporting scenarios on a user’s holdings within Gemini Custody. Initially, the pilot reports holdings of two cryptocurrencies chosen for liquidity reasons. Guardian Capital (Guardian) has converted the Guardian Strategic Income Fund from a private offering, launched in May 2013, and available only to accredited investors, to an alternative mutual fund.

The hedge fund industry broke free from a four-month redemption streak in October with USD1.9 billion in net inflows for the month.
October’s inflows represented 0.1 per cent of industry assets and were a turnaround from September’s USD14.7 billion in redemptions, according to the Barclay Fund Flow Indicator published by BarclayHedge.
Coupled with USD14.7 billion in October trading profits, the inflows brought total industry assets to more than USD3.13 trillion as the month ended, up from USD3.05 trillion at the end of September.

EEX Group has successfully completed the first migration of Freight Open Interest from Nasdaq Futures, Inc (NFX) to European Commodity Clearing (ECC), EEX Group’s clearing house.
In the first of three scheduled matching sessions, a total of 69,144 lots of Freight Open Interest, which equates to more than 40 per cent of the entire NFX Freight portfolio, was migrated from NFX’s clearing house Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) to ECC.
