State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT) has launched State Street MediaStats Macro Linkages, a new set of quantitative investment insights derived from digital media.
First launched in 2016 with State Street partner MKT MediaStats, LLC, the new solution collects unstructured data from tens of thousands of curated media sources in order to quantify leading indicators of market behaviour with respect to price and risk across global equity and foreign exchange markets.

Scorechain, a crypto-tracking and risk management solutions provider, has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool, which is able to detect fraud patterns, in its Anti-Money Laundering cryptocurrency transaction monitoring software.
The AI feature aims to provide a more accurate risk-scoring for cryptocurrencies activity with more sophisticated blockchain services identification.

Estera Bermuda’s Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) team has sponsored the listing of the Hexagon II Reinsurance DAC notes.
The Hexagon II Reinsurance DAC listing is the third EU domiciled ILS deal on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) in 2019. It follows the Estera sponsored listing of EUR45 million Atmos Re DAC notes and GBP75 million Baltic PCC notes from Ireland and the UK respectively. To date, there have been six ILS notes originating from foreign issuers listed on the BSX in 2019. Estera has listed all the deals originating in EU and UK.

MTS, part of the London Stock Exchange Group, has launched the first designated electronic trading platform for Euro-denominated Cypriot government bonds.
The addition of Cyprus to MTS’s interdealer market, MTS Cash, increases the number of countries on the market to 21. From 18 November 2019, primary dealers will be able to electronically trade Cypriot debt on MTS Cash, which offers a liquid, transparent and efficient European bond marketplace with real-time pricing from its central limit order book. The Chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Jay Clayton, has backed the Dodd-Frank Act’s whistleblower reward law, saying that the whistleblower program is an “invaluable component” to the Commission’s “enforcement efforts.”
In a detailed report to Congress issued on the same day, the Commission reported that “the whistleblower program continues to have a significant positive impact on the Commission’s enforcement efforts and protection of investors and markets.”
