MoonX has launched of its new trading technology in the UK, offering a full suite of financial software and hardware systems for exchanges, brokerages, hedge funds, financial institutions and traders.
MoonX’s offering includes the world’s fastest exchange software, matching 25 million Transactions Per Second (TPS). This makes MoonX 150 times faster than its closest competitor; meaning traders can place 150 times more orders in the same time frame. MoonX processes one order in six nano seconds, by that time light would have only travelled 1.8 metres, making MoonX the fastest exchange in the world.

Volumes in UK Power Futures more than doubled year-on-year to 296,110 MWh and, as a result, achieved a new monthly record (October 2018: 125,070 MWh).
Clear double-digit growth was achieved in power futures for Central-/South-Eastern Europe (17.3 TWh, +55 per cent), Spain (12.5 TWh, +38 per cent) and Germany (236.5 TWh, +16 per cent).

The new UCITS Fund adds environmental, social and governance (ESG) screens to Brown Advisory’s top quartile performing Global Leaders Strategy. The addition of the ESG screens has been made in response to client demand.

Multi-boutique investment company BennBridge is launching a new boutique asset management business, Skerryvore Asset Management, in partnership with emerging market equities manager Glen Finegan.
BennBridge, which has established offices in London and New York, is part of the BFM Group – which operates as Bennelong Funds Management in Australia. Skerryvore will be based in BennBridge’s Edinburgh office.
