Hedge fund veterans Alan Howard, co-founder of Brevan Howard Asset Management, and Paul Tudor Jones, head of Tudor Investment Corp, are upping their bets on the crypto space, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
Brevan Howard is making bets in the direction of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies through a new crypto hedge fund launched in January, while Jones is reported ti have been purchasing cryptocurrencies as a hedge against rising inflation.

CVC Credit has priced Cordatus XXIII, a Collateralised Loan Obligation (CLO) fund totalling EUR502 million, arranged by Jefferies.
This is the second new CLO fund CVC Credit has announced globally this year, both of which have priced in the last week. Together these new funds have an aggregate value of nearly EUR1 billion.
Cordatus XXIII was upsized by EUR100 million due to strong support from a diverse book of both new and longstanding investors. As with previous Cordatus funds, Cordatus XXIII is primarily comprised of broadly syndicated First Lien Senior Secured Loans.
Transaction Network Services (TNS) has entered into a new partnership to become a data vendor and connectivity provider with Spain’s principal stock exchange, Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME).
TNS can now offer market data and order entry access to the Spanish Equity Market SIBE platform (the exchange’s own electronic trading platform) as well as Mercado Español de Futuros Financieros (MEFF) derivatives.
BME manages all Spanish stock markets, operating Bolsa de Madrid, Bolsa de Barcelona, Bolsa de Bilbao, Bolsa de Valencia plus the derivates exchange MEFF.

Robeco has appointed Harald Lohre as Executive Director Quant Equity Research.
In this newly created position, Lohre will strengthen Robeco’s Quant Investing leadership and supervise its research efforts to further enhance the firm’s Quant Equity strategies. He will also remain an Honorary Researcher at the Department of Accounting and Finance of Lancaster University Management School, coordinating the PhD research projects between Robeco and Lancaster University.
Lohre reports to Weili Zhou, Head of Robeco’s Quant Equity Research team.
