Peter Hornick, Head of Business development at $33m global macro hedge fund manager Brevan Howard, and the man responsible for luring top talent to the firm, is leaving the business as part of a corporate rejig, according to a report by Business Insider.

Eren Ozgur, the Head of Global Rates Strategies at Deutsche Bank has quit to take up a portfolio management role at Alphadyne Asset Management, a New York-based hedge fund founded by ex-Goldman Sachs partner Philippe Khuong-Huu and run by CEO and 28-year JPMorgan veteran, Joseph Regan.

Allen & Overy (A&O) has appointed Elaine Hughes, an adviser to hedge funds, private equity funds, venture funds, credit funds, and funds of funds, as a partner in the firm’s funds and asset management practice based in the New York office.

Steve McDonald, a director in Bank of Nova Scotia’s treasury group, is leaving the Toronto-based bank to take up a new role as a director in the portfolio risk group at multi-strategy hedge fund Polar Asset Management Partners, according to a report by Bloomberg.
