Millennium, the hedge fund business founded by Izzy Englander, has poached another bank managing director with the recruitment of Cagdas Aksu, who has spent the past 18 years at Barclays, most recently serving as MD and head of the bank’s European rates Strategy, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
London-based hedge fund Eisler Capital has continued its recent recruitment drive with the appointment of Yves Masselin, a former trader at JPMorgan as a portfolio manager, according to reports.
Cadwyn Capital has added to it leadership team with the appointment of Parag Patel as chief risk officer and investment director. Patel will oversee risk management at the firm and be involved in the implementation and direction of investment strategies.
Prior to joining Cadwyn, Patel was CRO of Capula Investment Management for three years and chair of the firm’s investment committee, with global oversight of investment and enterprise risk, overseeing the firm’s growth from $18 billion to $25 billion in AUM, including expansion to eight funds, including several newly launched strategies.
