The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA), has announced the directors of its governing body, the AIMA Council, for the 2022-2024 term with effect from 14 September.
SS&C Technologies Holdings has appointed Bhagesh Malde to lead its newly combined global fund administration and servicing business. The new group will continue to operate as SS&C GlobeOp and brings together SS&C’s hedge fund administration, private markets administration, middle office, and insurance global servicing capabilities.
Key services also include middle- and back-office outsourcing and loan servicing. Bhagesh in this role will report to Rahul Kanwar, President and COO.

Caravel Capital Investments Inc has promoted Jack Hidi to the position of Portfolio Manager. In his new role, Hidi will act as co-manager of the Caravel Capital Fund, the manager of the Caravel Capital Canada Fund, a mutual Fund trust offered in Canada through Corton Capital and Fundserv.
Hidi began his career with Caravel Capital Investment Inc as a summer analyst in 2019 after graduating from Western University with an HBA and a master’s degree in Data Analytics. At the end of the initial contract period, he was offered a full-time position by the founders, Jeff Banfield and Glen Gibbons.
Neuberger Berman, a private, independent, employee-owned investment manager, has appointed Niall O’Sullivan to the newly created role of chief investment officer, multi-asset strategies, EMEA.
Working closely with the firm’s global investment teams, O’Sullivan will be responsible for leading the multi-asset team’s investment activity in the region, driving portfolio construction and outlook development for EMEA client portfolios. BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed Mark Richards as Head of Flexible & Absolute Return within its Multi-Asset, Quantitative & Solutions (MAQS) investment division. Richards is based in London and reports to Maya Bhandari, Global Head of Multi-Asset.
In his new role, Richards will be responsible for the performance of BNPP AM’s flexible and absolute return funds and ensuring the alignment of portfolios with the views of the Investment Committee. He will also work closely with the other teams within MAQS to exchange investment ideas, as well as contributing to the development of the broader MAQS product range
