JTC, a provider of fund, corporate and private client services, has announced two new strategic senior appointments within its Institutional Client Services (ICS) division. Fiona Wild, joins JTC as a Group Director, Head of Operations – ICS and Marie Fitzpatrick joins as a Senior Director in ICS.
Wild will be responsible for leading and creating operational efficiency within the ICS network of offices to support the consistent delivery of the division’s business plan and to ensure an efficient and effective working environment.
Wild has over 17 years’ funds experience and joins JTC from IQ-EQ, where she headed up the fund services
Fixed income specialist Ardea Investment Management has made a senior appointment to its investment team as part of a strategic plan to capitalise on future growth opportunities.Ardea has appointed Dr Laura Ryan to a newly created role as Head of Research, in which capacity she will progressively build a new research team to support Ardea’s growing investment capabilities.
Prior to Ardea, Laura was Senior Vice President (Quantitative Research) and member of the Australian senior management team at PIMCO, Manager of Quantitative Strategy at CBA, Quantitative Manager at AMP Capital Investors and a Lecturer in Statistics at the Australian National
Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has appointed Roberto Pecora as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and country head for Italy.
Specialist fixed income manager, BlueBay Asset Management (BlueBay), has appointed Stephan Eckstein to the newly created role of Sales Director.Based in Zurich, Eckstein reports to Roberto Valsecchi Oliva, Head of Switzerland and Southern Europe and will be responsible for developing BlueBay’s presence with wholesale investors in the region. Stephan’s appointment continues to bolster BlueBay’s Swiss presence, following the appointments of Renato Aebi and Marc-Hendrik Berthold in 2018.

E*TRADE Financial Corporation has appointed Corporate Controller Brent Simonich as Chief Risk Officer after Paul Brandow advised the Company of his decision to retire, following over a decade of service to the firm. The appointment of Simonich is effective immediately, while Brandow has agreed to serve in an advisory capacity throughout the transition.

Confluence Technologies (Confluence), a technology solutions provider for the money management industry, has appointed Annabel Giles to the newly created role of Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO).The role was created to further develop the company’s human resources function, helping Confluence to develop its people strategy and continue to attract, retain and develop people successfully. As part of her role, Giles will be responsible for developing a talent management and resourcing strategy, as well as a global reward program, and for overseeing change management.

She brings over eight years’ experience working in the alternative investment industry, having previously worked at an independent fund administrator selling fund solutions to UK private equity and venture capital managers.

ACA Compliance Group (ACA) has appointed Shvetank Shah as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and member of the Board of Directors effective immediately. Shvetank previously worked at Gartner where he held many leadership roles including Senior Vice President of its Technology & Service Provider practice. Shah will be based in ACA’s Silver Spring, MD office.
As ACA’s CEO, Shah will oversee all global operations and the corporate growth strategy. His responsibilities will include executive leadership, management, strategic vision, and accelerating the growth of the business.

D’Alesio is based in London.In this role, D’Alesio will be responsible for leading GAM’s external fund manager research team and managing portfolios that combine external managers and other investment exposures, including betas, factors and alternative risk premia. The team employs a disciplined and risk-focused process to identify and combine talented managers across asset classes and investment styles, blending high-conviction qualitative views with proprietary quantitative modelling tools.
