Mosaic Smart Data (Mosaic), a real-time capital markets data analytics company, has appointed Mike Thorpe as its new Head of Sales.Over the past year, Mosaic Smart Data has updated its MSX platform to provide analytics for trading venues and buy-side firms as well as expanding the number of asset classes on the platform. Now, Thorpe joins a team of more than 40 at Mosaic to grow the company’s client base among the world’s largest institutions and support existing clients in on-boarding additional features and asset classes of the MSX platform.

She will be responsible for managing existing solutions as well as new product development, to support the expanding range that AMX can offer its clients.

The Managed Funds Association (MFA), the trade association for the global hedge fund industry, has named Bryan N Corbett as its new President and CEO. Corbett succeeds Richard H Baker, who has served in the position since 2008. Corbett begins his new role on 21 January, 2020 and will be based in Washington DC.
