Axioma has appointed Molly McGregor as Managing Director, Marketing and Communications. McGregor was previously Chief Marketing Officer of Hanweck, a provider of real-time risk analytics for the global derivatives markets, since 2016.

Cowen Inc has added Matthew Costello to Cowen Prime Services LLC’s capital introduction team as a Director. Costello will help Cowen further expand its capital solutions offering to its prime brokerage and outsourced trading clients with consultative and focussed propositions.

Lyxor Asset Management has appointed Dan Rizzuto as Head of Business Development of its US-based business, Lyxor Asset Management Inc (Lyxor Americas).
Rizzuto brings decades of experience to the role and has an extensive record of managing business development and investor relations teams in the alternative investments industry. He assumes the role from Andrew Dabinett, who was promoted to CEO of Lyxor Americas in August 2018.
Lyxor Americas was established in 1999 and is comprised of hedge fund research, due diligence, risk, portfolio management, and structuring teams providing fiduciary management services and helping clients allocate to alternative strategies more effectively.
Managed Funds Association (MFA), a trade association for the global hedge fund industry, has appointed Mark Epley as Executive Vice President & Managing Director, General Counsel, effective 19 February 2019.
Epley (pictured), will join MFA from the Office of the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, where he serves as senior advisor and general counsel.

Stone Harbor Investment Partners (Stone Harbor), a manager of emerging markets credit strategies, global high yield credit strategies, and multi-sector credit strategies, has appointed Jim Craige, Head of Emerging Markets, as co-CIO.

The Supervisory Board of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) appointed Jens Rick as member of the Management Board. As of 1 February 2019, Rick will assume the newly created position of the Chief Information Officer.
Rick is an experienced manager and entrepreneur. He joined Deutsche Börse in August 2015. As Director Energy IT, he manages the design, the development and the operation of trading systems of the M7 product family including sales and customer management. In previous engagements, Jens founded and managed software and consulting companies in the financial sector, also with a focus on data management.

The Supervisory Board of European Commodity Clearing (ECC) has appointed Dr Götz Dittrich as a new member of its Management Board.
As of 1 January 2019, Götz Dittrich will take over the function of the Chief Operating Officer of ECC. At the same time, Iris Weidinger and Steffen Köhler will leave the ECC Management Board to focus on their mandates as CFO and COO of the European Energy Exchange (EEX).

ProMeritum Investment Management, an emerging markets fixed income manager focussed on Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA), has appointment of Brian Seel, who spent the last eight years with the US Treasury Department, as Economist.
In this role at ProMeritum, Seel is primarily responsible for economic and policy analysis, idea generation and research. He most recently served as the Treasury Attaché to the US Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, where he was responsible for leading Treasury’s macroeconomic monitoring, financial sector policy and engagement efforts both in Ukraine and across the CIS region.
