KKR has announced a newly promoted group of 18 Managing Directors, effective 1 January 2019.

BTIG has appointed Jennifer Bloom and Rachel Lucas, Managing Directors, as Co-Heads of US Capital Introduction. Bloom and Lucas have been instrumental in building the Capital Introduction business, holding key leadership roles within the division for nearly a decade.
In their new roles, they will continue to be based out of the firm’s New York office and will report to Peter Tarrant (pictured), Head of Business Development and Global Capital Introduction at BTIG.

Jessica Nicosia and Cian Desmond have joined Wilshire Funds Management as a Vice President and Assistant Vice President, respectively.
Nicosia will assist in developing Wilshire’s robust alternatives offering, supporting the firm’s efforts to identify and provide customised alternative investment solutions to financial intermediaries and institutions globally. Desmond joins Wilshire’s Manager Research Group, primarily focused on alternative investment strategies.

RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) has appointed Dave Eikenberg as Head of US Intermediary Sales.
In this new role, Eikenberg will be responsible for developing and executing RBC GAM’s sales effort toward the US Intermediate marketplace including wealth management firms, defined contribution platforms, sub-advisory, private bank, TAMPS, Bank Trust and RIAs.
Eikenberg, who is based in Boston and reports to Jeff Masom, Global Head of Institutional Distribution, has over 20 years of industry experience with a focus on leading sales teams, previously as a Senior Manager for T Rowe Price’s Retirement Solutions business. In his eight years

The Standards Board for Alternative Investments (SBAI) has increased its presence in North America with the appointment of new North American Committee members.
The new members include Bradley Belt, Vice Chairman of Orchard Global Asset Management, Marcus Frampton, CIO of Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation and Priti Singh, Head of External Portfolio Management at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). The SBAI is the global standard-setting body for the alternative investment industry, supported by approximately 200 alternative investment managers and institutional investors who collectively manage USD3.5 trillion.

Rajani is the Founder and Managing Director of Argella, an advisory firm specialising in fintech with specialist knowledge in research, data and analytics. Prior to launching Argella, Amar spent 17 years at Bloomberg LP, where he was responsible for a range of products that serviced its core buy and sell-side clients.
