Algomi, a network company providing information-matching solutions for the optimisation of fixed income liquidity, has appointed former MarketAxess EMEA COO, Scott Eaton, as CEO, effective immediately.
Eaton will focus on the further commercialisation of Algomi’s suite of fixed income solutions including its data aggregation and market surveillance tool Algomi ALFA.
Before his role at MarketAxess, Eaton was Global Head of Emerging Markets Trading with UniCredit and held a variety of leadership roles in credit trading and structuring at ABN AMRO, RBS, Deutsche Bank and UBS. Eaton is a dual US and UK citizen with a juris doctor from Georgetown

Ogier has strengthened its funds practices in the Cayman Islands and Luxembourg with three partner promotions.
Funds specialists Justin Savage and Anne-Gaëlle Delabye have both been promoted to partner in the Cayman Islands and Luxembourg respectively, while fund finance lawyer Mark Santangeli has been promoted to partner in the Cayman Islands.
Savage, who joined Ogier in 2013, advises some of the firm’s largest investment fund clients on the full life-cycle of open-ended and closed-ended investment funds and private equity structures.

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has elected two new members to its Board of Directors – Claudine Gallagher, Americas Regional Head for the Securities Services business of BNP Paribas, and Joseph Molluso, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Virtu Financial.
At BNP, Gallagher is responsible for the strategic development of the region, spearheading its client and product development. She serves on senior committees throughout the Bank, including the Executive Committees of the BNP Paribas Americas Territory and of BNP Paribas Securities Services.

Christoffer Folkebo has now assumed the role as CEO of Carneo Asset Managers (Carneo), formerly known as Caram.
Folkebo joins Carneo from Max Matthiessen where he has served as Group CEO for the past 12 years. During those years, Max Matthiessen developed from a local insurance broker into a well-managed, growing and profitable financial services firm and became a part of the global company Willis Towers Watson.
