Elena Tsareva has joined the BCS Global Markets Research Team as a senior banking analyst, enhancing the investment bank’s coverage of a major sector of the Russian economy and satisfying growing client demand for banking research. Tsareva, an experienced and accomplished analyst, has more than ten years of equity research experience, specialising in banking. Specialist fixed income manager, BlueBay Asset Management (BlueBay), has appointed Sid Chhabra to the newly created role of Head of Structured Credit and CLOs. Based in London, Chhabra will report to Mark Dowding and Stephen Thariyan, Co-Heads of Developed Markets, and will lead the initiative to establish and manage a new range of BlueBay global structured credit and ABS strategies.   This new capability will be utilised in existing multi asset credit portfolios, as well as in new, innovative stand-alone traditional and alternative strategies. Leading financial risk management consultancy, JCRA, has appointed two senior FX advisory specialists, Chris Towner and Andrew Scott, who will be joining the business in June and July respectively. Towner (Director) and Scott (Associate Director) are moving from HiFX and have a collective 40 years’ experience in providing specialist FX advice to funds, corporates and private equity clients, and are aiming to bring many of these to JCRA with them.   As financial product providers withdraw from presenting themselves as giving advice, clients who need input and best practice guidance on their FX exposure management, increasingly turn to independent advisors.

Cinnober has appointed Peter Lenardos as its new Group CFO. Lenardos has past experience in the financial sector as both an investment banker and ranked research analyst, with an international network in the institutional investment community and among global market infrastructure and asset management companies. Martin Currie has appointed Julian Ide as its Head of Distribution and Strategy. Saxo Bank, a Fintech specialist focused on multi-asset trading and investment, has appointed Eric Krueger (pictured), to a newly established position as Global Head of Client Services, effective from 2 July 2018.  He will report directly to Damian Bunce, CCO of Saxo Bank A/S.   Krueger will play a lead role in managing and developing Saxo Bank’s client relationships and the infrastructure serving those clients.
