Excelian Luxoft Financial Services, the financial services division of Luxoft Holding, has appointed Thierry Noufele has joined as Director Head of Vendor Solutions for Excelian Luxoft in the United States and Latin America.
Noufele brings over 25 years of experience within the capital markets technology industry to Excelian Luxoft. Thierry began his career as a Software Engineer at BNP Paribas and joined Murex, one of the largest trading, risk management and processing solutions for capital markets, in 1992. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has appointed Matthew A Daigler as a Senior Counsel to Chairman J Christopher Giancarlo. Daigler will advise the Chairman on Commission matters, including the Chairman’s Swaps Regulation Version 2.0 agenda.

Atavadzhieva, who was most recently the CRO of Sberbank Asset Management and Deputy CRO of Sberbank Wealth Management, will report to BCS CEO and Chairman Roman Lokhov (pictured).
She has over 17 years’ experience in risk management across several companies including Renaissance, Nikoil and Rosbank/MFK Bank. Notably, Marina played a key role in the development of risk management strategy for Aton Group, whilst employed as CRO of Aton LLC.

Derivative asset management firm Harvest Volatility Management (Harvest) has bolstered its ‘40 Act Investment Products team with the addition of two seasoned executives from Horizons ETFs Management, Garrett Paolella, former Managing Director and the Head of ETFs, and Troy Cates, former Managing Director and Head of Trading.
Paolella has joined Harvest as Managing Director, responsible for bringing new strategies to the public market in the form of ETFs, open-end funds, closed-end funds and UCITs vehicles. Cates serves as Executive Director, and will work alongside Paolella in developing new strategies.

Franklin Templeton Investments has appointed Brendan Walsh as SVP/Portfolio Manager, Franklin Templeton Multi-Asset Solutions (FTMAS).
Effective 8 October 2018, Walsh will lead the development of the firm’s multi-asset capabilities in the UK, as well as being a key contributor to the asset allocation strategy for investment solutions managed by the multi-asset solutions team. He will be based at Franklin Templeton’s London offices and will report to Thomas Nelson (pictured), SVP/Director of Portfolio Management, FTMAS.

BTG Pactual Asset Management has appointed Andrea Fioravanti as a Portfolio Manager, FX Trading.
In this role, Fioravanti will trade foreign exchange instruments for BTG Pactual Asset Management’s flagship Global Emerging Markets and Macro Fund (GEMM). Fioravanti will be based in London, effective 2 July 2018.
“Andrea has spent his entire career in foreign exchange trading and will be a valued addition to our GEMM team,” says Steve Jacobs, CEO of BTG Pactual Asset Management. “He joins our 30 investment professionals across in UK, US and Brazil who trade GEMM.”

Pillar Capital Holdings Limited, a Bermuda-based insurance asset manager focused on collateralised reinsurance and catastrophe insurance-linked securities, has appointed Jeffrey T Daddario as a Senior Analyst.
Prior to joining the Company, Daddario ran a secondary trading desk trading public and private catastrophe bonds at JLT Capital Markets, the boutique investment bank of JLT Re based in Manhattan. He was also responsible for assisting in the structure and origination of private placement catastrophe bonds, including a USD180 million Skyline Re and the first weather bond (Market Re 2016-5) in nearly 20 years. Daddario has a Bachelor’s of Science from Cornell University.
Man FRM, Man Group’s alternative investment specialist, has appointed Samantha Rosenstock as Sector Head of Relative Value and Private Markets. She will be based in New York and report to Jens Foehrenbach (pictured), Chief Investment Officer at Man FRM.
Rosenstock has 20 years of experience in the alternative asset management industry, and prior to joining Man FRM was Head of Alternative Investment at the State of New Jersey. Maitland, a global advisory and fund administration firm, has appointed Tim Oddy as Senior Relationship Manager for its UK and EU funds business.
The hire has been made following a sustained period of organic growth, together with a number of significant new client implementations over the last eighteen months. Oddy will be responsible for the relationship management of Maitland’s largest fund services clients, as well as helping to raise awareness of the Maitland brand across the market. Based in London, he will report to Patric Foley-Brickley, Head of Business Development & Client Management – Europe.
